December 2017: Carolling in Salisbury
A small band played carols in Salisbury town centre on Saturday 2nd December. The bandstand, outside Waterstones, was well placed and there was a continuous flow of people to listen. The music was enjoyed by the passing shoppers, particularly "Jingle Bells", much to the chagrin of the band, who had to play it many times. Nevertheless the audience was very generous as the band collected over £250 in 2 hours.
In addition, the band also had the Hyde Band Christmas CD on sale (see details here), which sold very well!
